Origin of Cactevo

Cactevo is a coined word of “Cactus” and "Evolve". Learning from the resilience of the cactus, which stores moisture and survives even in harsh, arid environments, the name reflects the idea of regulating the scalp environment with moisture.

The etymology of the word “Cactus” goes back to the ancient Greek word kaktos. Evolve" also means "technological evolution.

The product incorporates two cutting-edge technologies: exosomes (vesicles responsible for intercellular communication), which are attracting attention in the field of regenerative medicine, and nanodiamond (a material that is being studied for UV protection and delivery).

Development Background

Thinning hair is not an uncommon problem for women. It is estimated that approximately one in three women, regardless of country or race, will suffer from thinning hair during their lifetime. However, over-the-counter products for women lack options, and some drugs are not indicated or contraindicated for women.

Therefore, Cactevo pursues daily care that does not depend on hormonal pathways. It is designed to positively regulate scalp conditions by focusing on signals derived from exosomes (extracellular vesicles), while supporting moisture and skin irritation suppression with ingredients derived from the cactus, which protects moisture in the desert.

In addition, nanodiamond is used as a carrier/protectant material to support formulation delivery and UV-derived stress countermeasures.
